About The Band
Hailed as the best folk/punk band this side of Lake Champlain; The Champlain Shoregasm are a quirky, high-energy, femme fronted, Folk/surf punk and Rockabilly band based in Burlington, Vermont; the West Coast of New England.
Comprised of Maya Robedee-Molino on lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Justin taylor on Lead Guitar, sasha gilmore on bass, and Bobby Powell on Drums, The Champlain Shoregasm are inspired by 80's and 90's punk, alternative, and shoegaze. original music includes upbeat crowd favorites Trans Alien, As the World Comes Apart, and Hey Geppetto, as well as moody alt-ballads such as Flowers for Lorelai, and I Don't Think So.
The Champlain Shoregasm have played venues including the legendary Cafee Lena, The Underground, shaskeen, and Boston's Midway Cafe have appeared live on WBKM.org's Sounds of Burlington, 105.9 FM's The Radiator, and Ab.Stract Podcast, and are veterans and favorites at keene music festival in NH playing in both 2024 and 2025.

Started playing music in High School as the lead singer of a garage/DIY punk band called Field Rat. Started performing professionally in 2017 as the Ukulele Riot Grrrl in Burlington, VT.
Influences: The Violent Femmes, The Cure, Bikini Kill, L7, Mazzy Star, Radiohead, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Bob Ross
Fun Fact: Once flew the space shuttle. And crashed it. Into the moon. Weemp womp.

You think you can't. You think whatever you write/perform nobody would ever resonate with or love. Probably because, someone in your life convinced you that you're not enough.

Started off playing drums like many drummers; Annoying his family by banging on pots and pans. First band was in middle school and mostly playing Misfits covers.
Influences: Enjoys music from many genres; punk being the main umbrella of interest. Bit of a music history nerd. Looks at music as an interconnected web of influences that is continuously changing and growing.
Fun Fact: enjoys being a part of a group with a wide variety of musical influences and the collaboration that stems from that.

If you are even remotely interested in music, get involved; go to local shows, host local shows, etc. Music shouldn't be exclusive, but inclusive.
